Your dedicated credentialed teacher arrives fully prepared with a custom lesson plan, materials, and a clear focus for the day. Every session feels less like a tutoring appointment and more like a personal coach working alongside your child.
1-on-1 Online Tutoring
1-on-1 Online Tutoring Online sessions are held by our math tutors online over Zoom using an interactive whiteboard so your child and their teacher can write, draw, and solve problems together in real time. It's the same lesson quality as in-person, just from the comfort of home. Perfect for busy weeknights, families outside our in-person area, or students who simply learn better in their own space.
Small Group Sessions
Small Group Sessions Small group sessions are capped at 4 students and grouped by grade level and skill set, so every student is learning alongside peers at a similar pace. Groups are carefully formed to make sure no one falls behind or gets bored. It's a more accessible option that still delivers the personalized teaching Math Elites is known for.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do Mathelites sessions work?
Every session is built around your child's specific needs. Your math tutors online arrives prepared with a custom lesson plan that targets the exact concepts your student is working on, whether that means closing a gap from class, reviewing for an upcoming test, or pushing further into more advanced material. All your child needs to bring is their current schoolwork, a notebook, and a pencil; the teacher handles the rest. Sessions are interactive and conversational, never lecture-based, so your student stays engaged and learns to think through problems rather than copy steps.
How long is each math tutors online session?
Math tutors online sessions are flexible. Families can choose between 60 or 90 minute sessions depending on what works best for their student's age, attention span, and goals.
Do you offer in-person tutoring near me?
We offer in-person tutoring across the Bay Area, with a strong presence in South County (Morgan Hill and Gilroy) and surrounding cities including San Jose, Santa Clara, Mountain View, and Milpitas. For families outside our in-person service area, online tutoring via Zoom is available to any student in California.
How quickly will my child see results?
Most families notice a real shift in confidence within the first three to four weeks, as their student starts approaching math with less anxiety and more curiosity. Measurable grade improvements typically follow over the next eight to twelve weeks, especially as foundational gaps close and stronger habits take root. Every student is different, but our credentialed teachers focus on building lasting understanding, not short-term wins.
What subjects do you cover?
We cover every level of math, from middle school foundations through advanced high school and early college coursework. Each subject is taught by a credentialed teacher with deep expertise in that level.
