Math Elites is committed to providing fair and transparent policies regarding prepaid math tutoring sessions and session packages. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for services booked through Math Elites.
By purchasing tutoring sessions or packages from Math Elites, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are available only for prepaid tutoring sessions that have not yet been delivered.
The following conditions apply:
- Completed tutoring sessions are non-refundable.
- Unused sessions from a prepaid package may be eligible for a refund upon written request.
- Refund requests are reviewed individually and handled in good faith based on the specific circumstances involved.
- Math Elites reserves the right to deny refund requests where services have already been substantially provided or where abuse of the refund policy is suspected.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Math Elites understands that schedules may change and aims to work collaboratively with families when adjustments are needed.
- Families are encouraged to provide as much advance notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling a session.
- Cancellation and rescheduling requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
- Math Elites will make reasonable efforts to accommodate scheduling changes and find fair solutions for both parties.
Repeated last-minute cancellations or missed sessions may affect future scheduling flexibility or refund eligibility.
3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, customers must submit a written request by email to:

- Student name
- Date of purchase
- Description of the prepaid sessions or package
- Reason for the refund request
Math Elites may request additional information if necessary to process the request.
4. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are generally processed within:
- 5–10 business days after approval
Actual processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
5. Payment Methods
Math Elites does not directly collect or store payment card information on its website.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, including:
- Stripe
- Square
- Venmo
- Zelle
Refunds, when approved, will generally be issued back to the original payment method where possible.
6. Non-Refundable Services
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Completed tutoring sessions
- Previously delivered instructional services
- Missed sessions where no reasonable notice was provided, subject to case-by-case review
- Administrative or third-party payment processing fees, where applicable and permitted by law
7. Students Under 18
For all students under the age of 18:
- A parent or legal guardian must authorize enrollment and payment.
- The parent or guardian is considered the responsible contracting party for all purchases, cancellations, and refund requests.
- Additional verifiable parental consent may be required for children under the age of 13 in compliance with applicable child privacy laws, including COPPA.
8. Policy Changes
Math Elites reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will become effective upon posting to the website or otherwise being communicated to customers.
