I first met Ms. G as a freshman in high school who needed to be challenged in mathematics. Under her guidance, I further developed my basic understanding of the subject and explored strategies in problem-solving which I couldn’t do in my regular classes. With the transition to online lessons due to COVID, I wanted to get a headstart in calculus, and Ms. G adapted her lessons to account for my learning needs and goals. Thanks to her caring attitude to teaching, I now have a Bachelor’s in Mathematics for Secondary Education from UC Davis and am pursuing my teaching credential.
